Hello Smart People! In the past few months, you may have come across a term that is becoming increasingly popular: Web3. You may be wondering what it is, what it will mean in the future, and how  the third generation internet is different from the first two.

Web 3.0 is the third generation of Internet services for websites and applications that  focus on the use of machine-based data understanding  to provide a data-driven semantic web. The ultimate goal of Web 3.0 is to create smarter, more connected, and more open websites.

As you would possibly bear in mind if you’re of a sure age, Web 1.0 changed into the generation of static internet pages. Sites displayed information and information, and perhaps you had your little nook of the World Wide Web to reveal your private interests.

With the sunrise of the twenty-first century, Web 1.0 gave manner to Web 2.0—an extra dynamic, editable, user-pushed internet. Static change out and web pages have become extra interactive and app-like (see Gmail, for example). And now the sunrise of Web3 is upon us. People outline it in some extraordinary ways, however at its center is the concept of decentralization, which we’ve seen with cryptocurrencies (key drivers of Web3).

In a Web3 world, people control their data, jumping from social media to email to shopping through a single custom account, creating a public record of all that activity on the blockchain. NFT, or non-fungible tokens, which are digital collectibles and other online files that can be bought and sold using cryptocurrencies.

At its simplest level, Web3 refers to a decentralized online ecosystem based on blockchain. Platforms and applications built on top of Web3 will not be owned by a central gatekeeper, but rather by users, who will get their ownership  by helping  develop and maintain these services.
